Oh my you've turned a lovely shade of green

I don't want to make you too, too jealous, but just look at what my Mum is going to needlepoint for her grand daughter.

Isn't it just gorgeous?  I can't believe my luck at finding it. We knew that we wanted something not to babyish, not too twee, and there is a lovely shop in town that carries a great selection of hand-painted canvases so I went to browse and there hanging on the wall just waiting for me to come along was this one.

Big needlepoint type decisions now have to made as to whether to use wool, silk ivory or pearl cotton thread - who knew it was all so complicated? 

Then I just have to mail it off to Mum who is going to slave night and day over it and then "voila" work of art for the bambino's room.

Try not to be too envious.
