And Lo , just when and I had started to lose hope that I would ever possess the much coveted "Bebecar" it arriveth from the North in all its flowery glory just as promised unto me by the one they call "Jacque" and it was good.
Despite my general disorganization this stroller was one of the things I had managed to "purchase" before we left for China, only as it turned out, I hadn't.
I ordered it from here which clearly showed it as being in stock but an email from the famous "Jacque of Bebecar" informed me that actually it was out of stock but should arrive before we left for China - which it did - sort of.
The day before our flight two boxes arrived from Canada (hooray), but inside was not my the Stylo AT the object of my lust but the three wheel Racer, a very lovely stroller no doubt, but not my Stylo AT.
Now the upside to this was that I got to see the Athens green fabric and in RL it was much brighter than it looked on the website (not loving it) and so I was able to switch to the yummy "flower power" fabric, except - you've guessed it, that fabric wasn't in stock. Such was my desire for the Bebecar I decided to wait it out, although having caught the stroller bug real bad I did purchase a Bumbleride Flyer while I waited - the baby made me do it - but that's another post.
So finally, drum roll please, behold I present unto thee the "Bebe car"
So excited we had to try it out in our PJ's - we likey, we likey a LOT!
Can you see me? Can you see me? In. my. BEBECAR!
So the Bebecar is a huge hit, it has a delightful "bounce" to its suspension just like an old fashioned pram, with the old fashioned occasional squeaking thrown in for free. The seat can face front or rear, the big air tires can cope with any terrain no matter how rough. The seat sits up beautifully high off the ground and the front steering wheels are dreamy.
Of course the trade off for all this luxury is that it is big and heavy, but that just means I hear one of these honeys calling my name.
